Deposits & Booking

A $50 non-refundable security deposit is required to book any appointment, including consultations.

This deposit goes toward your total appointment cost. If hair extensions are being ordered, it also goes toward the cost of your hair.

A $200 deposit is required to order custom-made hair extensions and is applied toward your final hair and appointment total.

The $50 security deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and helps protect the time reserved specifically for your appointment. It will be forfeited for no-shows, late cancellations, or appointment changes made without adequate notice.

Cancellations & Changes

Any cancellation or appointment change made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.

A new deposit will be required to rebook.

In the event of a no-show, an additional no-show fee may apply before a future appointment can be booked.

Late Arrivals

If you are more than 20 minutes late without prior notice, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Hair Orders

Custom extension hair is ordered specifically for each client based on colour, length, texture, method and desired result.

If you leave a deposit to order hair and abandon your order for more than 3 months, your deposit will be forfeited and you may be unable to book future services.

Custom-made hair orders are non-refundable once ordered.

Refunds

Due to the customized and personal nature of hair extension services, completed services and custom-ordered hair are final sale and non-refundable.

Once extension hair has been installed and worn, it cannot and will not be reused, resold or installed on another client for hygiene and quality reasons.

For this reason, once you leave the studio, there are absolutely no refunds.

If you have a concern with your installation, please contact Iconic Hair Extensions as soon as possible so the issue can be assessed.

Hair Longevity

Hair extensions are a wearable beauty product, and their lifespan varies depending on the extension method, natural hair, maintenance, at-home care, products used, heat styling, lifestyle, swimming and chemical services.

For this reason, an exact lifespan cannot be guaranteed.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Clients are responsible for properly caring for their extensions and following the recommended maintenance schedule.

Improper aftercare, unsuitable products, excessive heat, matting, excessive regrowth or missed maintenance may affect the condition and longevity of the extensions.

Additional charges may apply for excessive matting, buildup, tangling, difficult removals or appointments requiring additional time.

Removal

Removal appointments may require additional time depending on regrowth, matting, buildup and the condition of the hair.

Additional fees may apply for excessive matting, difficult removals or extensions that have been left in beyond the recommended maintenance period.

Colour & Chemical Services

Colouring, toning, bleaching or chemically processing extension hair can affect its condition, texture and lifespan.

Any chemical alteration of extension hair is performed at the client’s own risk and may affect eligibility for adjustments.

Services Performed by Another Stylist

Iconic Hair Extensions cannot be responsible for issues that occur after extensions have been removed, adjusted, moved up, coloured, chemically treated or otherwise altered by another stylist.

Bring Your Own Hair

Clients bringing their own hair are responsible for the quality, colour, quantity and condition of the hair provided.

Iconic Hair Extensions cannot guarantee the quality, lifespan, shedding, tangling or performance of hair purchased from another supplier.

Health & Hair Condition

Clients are responsible for informing Iconic Hair Extensions of any scalp irritation, allergies, hair loss, recent chemical damage or other condition that may affect the suitability of hair extensions.

We reserve the right to decline or postpone a service if we believe extensions may not be suitable for the condition of the natural hair or scalp.

Photos & Social Media

Photos and videos may be taken during or after your appointment for portfolio and social media purposes.

Permission will be requested before any identifiable client content is posted publicly.

Studio Security & Video Surveillance

For the safety and security of clients, staff and the studio, video surveillance may be in use in designated areas of the studio.

Security footage is used for safety, security and incident review purposes only and is not intended for social media or promotional use.
