Absolutely! When Extensions are fitted by a professional they are absolutely safe. Clients must also follow regular maintenance and take care of their hair and the extensions.
For your consultation please come to your appointment after youβve washed and straightened your hair. For your application please wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo and use no other products other than a clarifying shampoo. This is to ensure the extensions will be correctly bonded to your hair. Conditioner and other products should not be used before application.
Hair Extensions should only be applied to healthy hair. The hair should be at least 4-5β In length to ensure they are comfortable and discreetly hidden in your hair. Some people may suffer from medical conditions that make them unsuitable for hair-extension. Please speak to me if you suffer from any medical conditions. I want to ensure everyone has a positive experience with extensions and will not apply them if I feel someone may have a bad experience with them.
Virgin Remy hair is considered the highest quality of hair. Remy hair is hair where all the cuticles are running in the same direction from the root to the tip of the hair. All of my extensions are 100% remy hair. Remy hair looks the best, itβs the easiest for you to maintain, itβs less likely to tangle and will feel the best, just like your own natural hair.
Yes! We recommend you tie your hair up in a loose braid or ponytail to avoid any tangling. We donβt recommend getting your hair wet in salt/chlorinated pools. Rinse your hair if you do get your hair wet and apply a leave in conditioner.
Your extensions can easily be styled, just like your regular hair. They are high quality human hair so they will actually hold styles very well!

Application
Depending on the method chosen it can take anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours for application. Tape-Ins 1-2 hours. Micro Beads 1.5-3 hours and Hot-Fusions from 2-4 hours.
We recommend a minimum of 4-5 Inches of hair.
Yes absolutely! You can color and style your extensions because they are real human hair.
For Tape-Ins we recommend a maintenance period of 4-8 Weeks. Micro-Beads 3-5 Months and Hot-Fusion 3-6 Months. This all depends on how fast your natural hair growth is.Β
Your natural hair will most likely have grown 1-4β in length. Your hair will need to be washed and conditioned to clean away any residue from the extension bonds. If you have maintained your hair-extensions correctly there will be no damage to your natural hair.
Extensions are removed in a manner where there is no damage to your natural hair. I use specialized products to remove the extensions.
Maintenance
I want my clients to get the most out of their hair extensions. Caring for long hair does require a bit more after-care but this is important to keeping your hair extensions looking beautiful and in peak condition. I also have products available for purchase that are specific to take care of your extensions!Β

I recommend my clients to always use a leave in conditioner (daily). Use a heat protectant when using any heat near your extensions. Use a mild shampoo that doesnβt contain alcohol or sulfates. And use a quality conditioner when washing your hair. A sulphate free shampoo and conditioner is a must. Use an oil on the mid/ends of your extensions.
